Gülru Vardar is a collection curator who lives and works in Zurich and Istanbul. She provides consultancy services on curating contemporary collections for individuals and corporations with special focus on establishing and restructuring collections through a research-based art advisory approach. She holds a Master's Degree in Curating & Cultural Analysis from ZHdK, Zurich University of the Arts, with a special concentration on "Institutionalization of Private Collections". She conducted years of research for private collections worldwide and studied their institutionalization processes. She participated in curatorial projects and exhibitions in Switzerland and Israel such as Museum Barengässe Zurich and CCA - Center for Contemporary Art Tel Aviv. Gülru also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA Degree in International Business and Finance. During her career in finance, mostly at UBS, she was also actively engaged in Art Banking Services.
